As an iPhone owner, many of my fiends love to have a quick look at this Apple’s sweet device. There’s no problem with that But my concern is that I can’t lend my iPhone without potentially giving them access to lots of personal data. (Email App, Messages, Contacts, Call history, browser history,  etc.)

How To Install LockDown:

• Firstly you need to have a jailbroken iPhone
• Now start Cydia and select that sections tab at bottom of the display.
• Search “Lock Down” And Install It
• Alternatively , press Systems tab from the list
• Once the system list is opened, now press lockdown form the list ( lockdown is a system app from Bigboss)
• Now install it using the button on top right corner of your display screen
• Once you have successfully installed Lockdown App you will need to restart your spring board.

1. Navigate to Lockdown icon and press it to open the Lockdown Setup
2. You will find three field on initial setup screen; select your safety word, password and then reconfirm it in the third field
3. Once you are through this, Lockdown will now list all the installed apps. You can now select individual apps to make them password protected.
4. Now to test if Lockdown works correctly, make sure to password protect one app and try to open it again from main springboard view ,If every thing goes alright, you will see popup from Lockdown IM+ asking you to enter password.
5. All in all, it is a great app because at times you have certain apps that you don’t want people to have access too and Lockdown just serves this purpose right.
